Apply For Devices
We do not give computers directly to individuals.
You are required to go through a recognized and trusted organization.
Therefore, only eligible clients can apply for our computers.
We regret to announce that we will no longer be accepting applications for free devices.
Circumstances beyond our control have changed, and we are no longer able to provide devices without charging a small fee. Alberta Computers for Schools will continue operations; however, we have had to make some adjustments to our business model in order to continue serving our communities. Effective immediately we will be charging nominal prices for all devices.
We remain committed to our core goals, including:
- Providing the highest-quality devices possible at low cost to the recipient / end user.
- Providing on-the-job training and employment pathways into the digital economy for Alberta's youth.
- Extending the lifecycle of IT equipment and promoting responsible reuse.

Due to a severe shortage of laptops we have had to change our maximums. We have decreased the number of laptops to 30 per calendar year for schools and 20 per calendar year for non profit organizations. There is still a restriction on the number of laptops available per order at 10.
We are receiving less and less Desktops therefore we are restricting the number of Desktops to 20 per order and 60 per year.
This temporary decrease of laptops is subject to end without notice at any time.
