How to Apply for Computers
Who can apply?
- All Alberta schools (public, separate, private, and charter), public libraries,
and non-profit learning organizations are eligible to receive computers.
- Eligible recipients can apply once every 12 months. Applications can be submitted at any
time and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Available computers are IBM-compatible and are installed with Windows operating
systems.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly encourage applicants to request desktop units. Though we are receiving increasing numbers of laptops, demand considerably exceeds supply. So if you wish to receive your computers much more quickly over the next few months, we strongly suggest you request desktops.
- We are now authorized to install Microsoft Office Professional 2003 software on computers going
to eligible schools. For further information please call (780) 427 5262.
